The interview process started with recruiter outreach for a Senior CAD Designer position. I had an initial screening/interview focused on my CAD experience, mechanical design background, drawings, assemblies, GD&T, and general fit for the role.
The conversation was professional and straightforward, and the interview itself was not particularly difficult. The role seemed focused on CAD design support, mechanical documentation, GD&T/detail drawings, and working with engineering teams. I did not progress to the next stage, mainly because I was too rusty on GD&T at the time.
