Applied online and the recruiter emailed me to get more information about my experience. I went back and forth on the email and was ghosted. A few weeks later, another recruiter contacted me to learn more about my background for the same position. I spoke with the recruiter for 45 minutes and was cleared to move on to the hiring manager round. I cleared the 45-minute hiring manager round and then moved on to the next round with two engineering managers. About ~30 minutes after I completed the interview with the engineering managers, the recruiter called me with excitement to mention that they were interested in moving forward with the next step, which was a take-home case study that I would have to present. I provided my availability and waited for the case prompt to come through. She had mentioned that there are changes in the hiring process and that I will hear about the next steps at the end of the week. I never heard back on any next steps. I was fortunate to find another opportunity but this experience has left me puzzled on the disorganized in the company. It showed a complete disregard for the candidate's time and excitement.
