Interview
I was interviewed briefly on the phone, a bit of email correspondence, then given an in-person interview after the manager asked me over email. We spoke, very cryptically and borderline unprofessionally, for a total of about one hour, with a tour of the facility afterwards.

Question 1
When I was given my phone interview, the interviewer asked me why I left my last job (similar field of work). I answered truthfully but professionally in saying that my values did not align with my ex-employers and that I valued integrity and taking pride in what I was doing.
During the in-person interview, the interviewer immediately honed in on this past comment and repeatedly asked about it after I expressed multiple times that I did not want to elaborate so as to not throw my past employer under the bus.
I was told that there is not much that can be done to change the trajectory that the business was experiencing, whether it be positive or negative. I was asked if I was content with assuming the role of being a "cog".
