I applied through college or university. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Viridien in May 2008
Interview
First HR will ask some behavioral questions, then the managers will ask some brain teasers and basic physics problems. You will be challenged with some tough questions later, but I believe it's stress test. You don't have to answer all question correctly to get the offer, just be calm during the interview. They will show you around if they are satisfied with you.
I applied through college or university. I interviewed at Viridien (Kuala Lumpur)
Interview
2 session and quite tough thou. 1st one got me only 10 minutes to get it done. 2nd one made me a little nervous as it involves few technical questions.
I applied online. The process took 6 weeks. I interviewed at Viridien (London, England) in Mar 2015
Interview
Phone interview with a geophysicist, very standard questions. I misunderstood the technical question so i floundered a lot and he tried to help but couldn't help too much. I also got to ask as many questions as I liked which he answered well.
Interview questions [3]

I applied online. I interviewed at Viridien (Crawley, West Sussex, South East England, England)
Interview
Applied online. Was offered a telephone interview, which lasted around 30 minutes, followed by a final-stage interview at their offices in Crawley which lasted about 3 hours. The final-stage interview consisted of an initial interview with HR and covered the usual questions... why CGG?, give examples of leadership style and team-working, etc. etc. This was followed by a technical interview which was quite in-depth, and focused on reflection events, velocities, and multiple identification (e.g. seabed/interbed/peg-leg multiples).
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Asked to recognize peg-leg multiples and side-swipe.
