The interview was pleasant. We mostly spoke of my work experience and how it would apply to the job position. Although, I had no previous car sales experience, they offered to train me if I were to be selected. We spoke briefly about the work hours and I was concerned about keeping a work life balance as the expectation is to be available to work 12 hour days and 6 days a week including most all holidays. Pay would be hourly during training but then be commission based after training. I was called in for a second interview the next day and asked if i could start in 3 days. I was concerned that the hiring manager was not considerate enough to allow me give a 2 week notice to my current employer. I passed on the job opportunity as I thought it was very telling of the company culture.
