      Fixed Income Analyst Interview

      Application

I applied online. I interviewed at Voleon (Chicago, IL) in Mar 2026

      Interview

The first interview was a typical interview with someone from the fixed income operations team. I felt like it went well. The next step was a work sample specific to corporate actions/trades on fixed income as well as a piece on reconciliation. I felt like I did well on both but received a basic reject email with no explanation. I would have liked a little more feedback considering I did a work sample that took a couple hours to complete.

      Question 1

They asked about my experience helping to build a new tool at my current company.
