Process was very much standard, I had a great feeling on moving forward with this position after interviewing with HR, hiring manager direct report and a potential collegue, I asked for one more interview with the CEO to get his take on a few things. It turned out to be another interview with the COO, who clearly left the pharma industry in a mid-tier manager role to get this c-suite role for his resume and who is completely out of touch with modern interview questions and clearly didn't read through my previous interviews, very annoying and unprofessional.
