After application was complete, I received an interview request. The interview was in person with the production manager and was low-pressure and focused mainly on personal experience questions and how they apply to the internship.

Received an alum referral. The interview was rescheduled a few times due to the employer. But, it went fairly smoothly. The interviewer was actually the producer because of the rescheduling and not HR, so I lucked out. The interviewer was friendly and bubbly, so it was informal. This may sound elementary, but do your research and come with a few idea proposals.
