I applied through college or university. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at WD (Milpitas, CA) in Feb 2018
Interview
30 minute phone screening first, then 6 one-on-one on-site interviews and a lunch chat. interviews involved discussions starting from my PhD research, and went on to technical questions based on fundamentals of device physics

Question 1
problems based on capacitors, NAND flash device structures (program/erase/leakage etc)
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at WD (Milpitas, CA) in Feb 2022
Interview
I got a referral from a friend. The first 30-minute online interview happened in the same week I applied. Then 8-9 one-on-one online interviews were arranged in the second week. The second interview was split into two days, 30-minute each. Interviewers included VP, directors, managers, technologists, and device engineers. Overall, they were friendly and the interaction was okay.
