I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at WED2B (Gateshead, England) in Sep 2025
Interview
A phone call, quite informal they just ring you back whenever theyve read your application and then face to face interview if successful from the phone call.
I don't anticipate the company has much respect for their employees simply put to the fact that they wanted 2 years of sales experience as well as sewing skills all for a 5 hour contract, but also wanted a large amount of availability and flexibility. Specifically they asked me to have both weekend days free which seems a bit unreasonable for a 5 hour contract.

Question 1
What is your relevant experience?
What is your availability?
Asked good questions about my back ground and relevant experience. The interviewers were warm and friendly but also straight to the point. Easy to get integrated into the company through the introduction and induction phases.

Question 1
What makes you think you would be good at this job?
Wed2b usually do a 2 step interview process, a short phone interview and then a more in depth in person interview. During the interview you'll be asked a lot of experience based questions and also have to do a mock "showcase" of a dress. The thing to know is that the interview in no way reflects the job you're about to do. I was told I performed exceptionally at interview, and got offered the job practically on the spot. You get lots of assurances about all the training and support you'll get: none of this is true. You watch videos and fill out a questionnaire for training but you're thrown in the absolute deep end when it comes to the role. Ignore all the things they tell you in the interview- if you genuinely want to do this job well, speak to coworkers about their tips and tricks, practice your greet and practice being friendly and keeping your stamina up. Also never skip arm day, you're going to be doing a lot of heavy lifting.
