      Data Scientist Interview

      Oct 7, 2021
      Anonymous Interview Candidate
      No offer
      Negative experience

      Interview

      1) HR ROUND 2) HIRING MANAGER 3) CODILITY CODING CHALLENGE 4)PANEL INTERVIEW. the whole interview process took 3 months. I have never seen such an incompetent HR in my life. They never respond to your email's and to progress into each round it probably took 3 weeks even though less than 6 people applied for that role( based on LinkedIn stats)

      Application

I interviewed at WPP Media (London, England)

      Interview

4 stages, 1 recruiter call, one competency interview and two technical interviews. All the interviewers were relaxed, asked the questions I would expected for the role. Overall it was a positive experience

      Data Scientist Interview

      Feb 9, 2021
      Anonymous Interview Candidate
      New York, NY
      No offer
      Negative experience
      Easy interview

      Application

I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at WPP Media (New York, NY) in Jan 2021

      Interview

The most horrible interview process. Recruiter was ok, and two departments were interested. One department moved faster-ish. Took 2 months to have 3 screens with recruiter, a coding assessment with 3 questions, only one of which is relevant to data science, and a final interview in the form of data process presentation, where you are given two datasets and absolutely no other information -- no scenario, no business question, no guiding problem. It's like they want you to be mind-readers. During the final interview, they acted extremely arrogantly because I did not do what they wanted, which they didn't tell me they wanted in the first place. Never even explained what they wanted to see during or after the interview. I don't think they understand how to do data science and they do not respect you as a candidate. Never heard back from the other department and recruiter quit half-way, so I just got ghosted. Could not have had a worse experience, honestly.
