      Average interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at WTP Advisors

      Interview

4 rounds of interview. all of them pretty relaxed with technical questions sprinkled in. first round is with HR second with a manager and associate Last two interviews are with two different partners, both are founding partners. My final interview was fast paced and had one technical question but overall more informative than anything else.

      Application

I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at WTP Advisors (White Plains, NY) in May 2010

      Interview

HR contacted me via email after I applied online. Took 2 weeks to schedule a phone interview. I was warned by a few colleagues that their interviewing process may be a little strange. For first round phone interview, there may be 6 people on the phone. When my turn came around, there were 5 people including HR. It tells you something about the company if they have that many people on the phone for the first round. Either they have nothing else better to do or HR is insecure about interviewing people for a position she knows nothing about. Interview lasted 40 minutes. Questions were pretty basic employment history questions, but the interview was pretty intense for an entry level position. Not everyday that you get attacked by 5 people at once. I think that's a poor HR strategy to waste so many people's time on the first round. The company warned you off the bat that there will be long commutes to client site and long hours year round. My take on it is that the culture is probably like the Big 4 as the partners all came from Big 4. The interviewing folks stress over and over that the company is just as good as the Big 4, but there were no indications on how they differentiate themselves from the Big 4. Perhaps the fee structure is significantly less than the Big 4, which is not good for you bc that means you get paid less for doing more work. All in all, it was one of the stranger interviewing experiences. People seemed nice enough. Just need to fire the HR head.
