I applied online, I was contacted around two weeks later for interview. The interview itself was in front of a panel of three, including my potential line manager. A short, 15 minute assessment was conducted prior to the panel interview, seemingly testing analytical ability of public heath data. All three panellists engaged and seemed interested in my responses. All had knowledge of their respective fields and departmental focus, they spoke with passion when questioned about departmental and team culture. Overall it was a very positive view of the Public Health Intelligence team, and the Directorate in which it operates. I cannot speak for other departments.
