      Interview

Don’t waste your time! They are a family owned business. Father & son, The son will break labor laws and do illegal searches without your permission and consent! The killer is you won’t even be told before they are going to do you background pry into your background. Communication with him is poor at best. If you work there everybody will know your business. Because when I was interviewing I heard everyone’s personal business during my interview with three different people. All the workers have some kind of family member there. Could be a wife, sister, brother, cousin or girlfriend. They work in the office or on the production floor! Even though you don’t drive a company car for them. They will do a 30 year research on you! Without out your knowledge and signing anything. They will search all your social media. So if you have an old account you don’t even go on they will dig it up. Don’t think your personal life and work life will be separate if you work there. I think the dad who started the business is a good person. But the son falls in line with all kids of business owners. Selfish self-serving, spoiled and confused. Don’t waste time! If you work there you will be the first field service engineer from outside hire who didn’t work from the bottom up. So good luck not running into resentment from your coworkers and the ones that will be training you! My suggestion is don’t waste your time! For my in person interview 2 phone interviews 1 in person interview. I spent over a half a day on my in person interview waiting on the production floor. Waiting for maybe a 20 minute interview with Junior. And two other 10 minute interview worn two other department people. A total waste of time in the end. I know at that point if I worked there there would be possible resentment from fellow employees. And everybody would know what I make and what I got in ways of vacation time. Plus any personal business. Because the people working in the back. Have family members working up front in the office. In HR and accounting. Not to long before the grapevine would go into affect!
