During the 30 minute call, most of it was spent with the interviewer describing why the role was needed, how "on the ground" the job duties/expectations were, and how they had to convince the founders this role needed to be more senior. This only left a small amount of time for behavioural questions and follow ups. Unfortunately it did not feel like there was adequate time to explain how my application and experience was applicable to the role. I was told I would be receiving an activity to complete and a follow up interview with the Founder and his wife, but received a rejection email a few days later. I requested feedback but received none. Overall it was a very odd initial conversation.
