I had one interview with them, bad interview but I still rate them 5 starts. Their interview actually made pushed me into self-realization how bad I am at interview.
I applied the job, got a phone scree, in the screen I was asked how much did I know about the company, I said not much. That's it, from here I could sense the interview going downhilll.
I received the rejection email after a few days and was fuming initially as in my mind I'm a great candidate and I was local to their office (Austin, TX)
After doing a bit of a research about the company, it turns out it is indeed a really great company. They are people first and treat their employees really well.
So, it was natural for the hiring team to hire someone who actually has an interest in the company and its mission, not only the job.
Lesson learnt! Prepare well for the companies you want to be a part of.
