Welsh Government interview questions

Negative experience as I was advised a decision would take 2 weeks and it took nearly 12. I was also told that I would be given feedback and I never was despite requesting. Unless your answer meets the descriptors they have on their paper it’s irrelevant whether you gave a perfectly good answer or not unfortunately so very narrow in scope. Whilst they did try to ask more follow up questions to try and draw that information out of you unless you have the perfect example to fit it’s difficult to do well. Whilst the questions were all framed as a tell me about a time when …. The situations themselves were very narrow.

It was just one stage interview, all the stakeholders were present. The questions are more of behavioural by painting scenarios and asking what I think is the way forward, teambuilding and few technical questions and they made decision that day.
