Question 1
Which tools do you typically use as an Instructional Designer?
I applied through college or university. The process took 2+ months. I interviewed at Whatfix (New Delhi)
Interview
I got the sense that the people who were doing the hiring and on the interview team were rookies and were themselves confused how to select a candidate.
I initially got shortlisted through college placements towards the end of my masters. After that they reviewed our assignments for half a day. They then took 1 hour interviews with each candidate. Then left without taking anyone. So a whole day spent and not a person selected. But I appreciate that they took time with the interviews.
A few months later they contacted me asking if I were interested. Went through another round of interviews, met senior management. They said they are fine with me and only have to speak with HR now. Then they stopped all communication. Didn't respond to mails or calls for 3 weeks at least. Finally I had to do some stalking and found one of the interviewers on LinkedIn who then informed me that they decided to not go ahead with me.
They don't seem to have much respect for others time, even if they are just interviewees come for a job, decency is required. They did this to a couple of friends of mine as well.
They struggled to clearly outline all the duties and roles themselves.
And they communicated to me that the deal was almost in the bag and then stopped all contact. If they gave a clear rejection early on, it would help to save time and look for other jobs.

Question 1
Will you be able to work 1-10 instead of usual work hours?
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Whatfix (Bengaluru) in Aug 2020
Interview
In a nutshell the overall interview procedure was smoothly completed. I totally agree that interview questions were tricky in terms of Instructional designer perspective, because we see to how the content is structured in order to get an end product for the end user. Maybe I did get a chance to ace it. Interview was through Google meet which is convenient and it went well with the higher management. I am happy for qualifying it.
