Meet with the DON, Talk about your online app and the test you took as part of the application process. (Nclex style test)
Take you for a tour and introduce you to key people.
Most people seemed nice at that time.
But I did notice the Nursing Assistants don't work or answer call lights very promptly. Of all the people I was introduced to, most were very nice but the cnas have attitude problems. Especially considering I am a superior potential co-worker.
The extended interview process drags on for almost 10 days with the drug test, physical, background check, then you have a really long orientation where they put you in a room and the instructor talks and shows you her laptop and you are supposed to learn their EXTREMELY COMPLICATED system while only the instructor herself plays with the system. You'd think they would have had us on a computer guiding us. You learn by DOING not watching someone else on a computer for 4 days @ 5 hours per day. They finally put us on the floor with other nurses and it is an extremely chaotic environment. I hope I can stick it out
