For me it was a natural progression considering I'm currently a programme manager in my current employer. It seems like the recruiter was expecting a better answer maybe saying that I would be fascinated with the new role. Recruiters don't understand that the senior you get the less "impressed" you get with new roles or companies.... if they want people to die for the company, hire inexperienced people.
