He wanted to present me to the team for a second round interview. When we got to salary and benefits, I wanted to negotiate because the range was lower than my previous job. He said he would talk to the team and get back to me. When he got back to me, he said the team's offer was non-negotiable and they don't include other non-salary options. That was an immediate red flag, and I declined to move on to the next round. The recruiter was polite but if management is telling him their offer is "take it or leave it," that's not a place I want to work.
