This company reached out and asked to reschedule at the last minute (on the Friday of within several hours) due to a company early holiday release. My attempts at outreach (immediate email reply as well as phone call) to confirm and reset went unanswered as obviously asking me if we could cancel to reschedule really meant they were going to regardless. When the interview occurred the following week (with no reference to the cancellation and no apology) I heard about the great culture and how they believe in people and what a great fit I seemed to be. I was scheduled for a next interview with the hiring manager. That interview was similar - our great culture, we believe in people, etc. The meeting went over time and was, per the hiring manager, a 'great and positive conversation.' I received zero communications thereafter and my attempts to connect for status and then finally feedback were met with the same. An incredible waste of time and so disrespectful. I've accepted that I truly dodged a bullet on this one. Nonetheless, I hope this serves to save another person from the wasted time, energy, and emotion.
