I got a call from consultancy.They scheduled my F2F round.On the iterview date i reached at the location.There were 2 technical round and 3rd was HR round.In HR round hr agreed to the the hike ,i demanded. but after she said there will be one more round with our CTO but he is not in the office today so she asked me to visit the office tomorrow or day after tomorrow.
After 2 days i reached at the scheduled time for my CTO round. HR asked me to wait another 3 hours as CTO had not arrived yet.After waiting 3 hours I had CTO Round.
After 3-4 days i got a call from Consultancy informin me me that i was seleceted for the selected position.Hence i submitted all the require documents.
Next day i got the offer letter from the HR but salary mentioned on offer letter was equivalent to my current package. No hike was given even after HR agreeing on the same while discussion in the HR round.
Firstly it is unprofessional to conduct a interview if the CTO is not available.Also making Candidates wait for 3-4 hours is inappropriate the resaon being, a candidate also has to miss the office and also the travelling expenses involved in two days travelling goes to waste.
The most important thing even after having discussion on salary hike that i wanted and the HR being agreed to it , it is very unprofessional and unethecial to defy the conversation and sending me the offer letter with the same salary package as i am getting in my current company.
If u can'nt offer the desired package you should not agrred to it in the first place.It wastes time and money of the candidate .
