I received interview invitation a week after submitting my application.
The first interview was done in microsoft teams. It started with a simple introduction of myself then their company introduction. They mainly explained their recruitment process and what their company does.
Then they ask you to take coding test within two weeks which takes about 2 to 3 hours to go through. If you pass this test, you will be able to proceed to next interview step which you will be asked by their engineer about more specific technical questions. Then finally you will get introduced to their producer/director and they will discuss or explain your assignment. I was announced that this entire process will take approximately of 1 to 2 months.
For me, this company was just one of the choice to try get job from and luckily I got job offer from other company with much better conditions therefore I declined before taking their test.
Moreover, I have been customizing unreal engine for a few years yet the test they gave seems not likely relevant to what you really need to solve issues in UE development.
Not worth spending time and effort to apply if you ever worked in AAA studio or middle class game studio. Only benefit seems their remote working environment.
P.S. I am Japanese native and I had no problem with this interview yet they asked if I need any help translating which was rude.
