      Enterprise Account Executive Interview

      I interviewed at Writer

      Interview

The interview process took 7 weeks with roughly a week between each step. All of the questions were "standard" for them, and designed to be more theoretical or about sales process. I didn't feel like I had a real conversation with anyone except the VP of Alliances, and had very little time to ask my own questions if I wanted to work there. The demo prompt they give for you to cover in 30 minutes should be 60 minutes with how many things they say they are judging, but it seems like no one even remembers the prompt and really just care about how to run a standard sales meeting.

If you were a CEO of any company, what would be your top 3 priorities and why?

      Interview

Awful. Avoid. It's been nearly a month since interviewing with Writer and I have not received any feedback or even a formal rejection. After spending 3+ days preparing for their final assessment, they never responded to me again. It is the WORST interview process I have ever been through, I would never apply to work here again.

      Interview questions [1]

      Question 1

What are Writer's USPs, why do you want to work here, how do you currently manage deals.

      Application

I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at Writer (London, England) in Feb 2025

      Interview

2 meetings- 1 with recruiter and 1 with hiring manager. Recruiter asked basic questions (also answered her door during the interview). Hiring manager took interview from his car with his camera off. I had provided this feedback to the recruiter with obviously no response- if they don't have time for me then why should I spend time with them?
