I applied through an employee referral. The process took 5 weeks. I interviewed at Xandr (Detroit, MI) in Jul 2023
Interview
Xandr's interview process summed up was a misleading mess.
Went through the entire interview process as a referral candidate and was offered a strong verbal by several members of the team (great news, but still cautious). There was an email chain with the subject line "congratulations" in which future colleagues were sharing welcome greetings. A member of their recruiting team had even reached out to ask what would happen if my current company at the time countered Xandr's offer, to which I affirmed my interest in pursuing the offer with Xandr.
Several weeks later, the recruiter ghosted me, and the "congratulations" chain went silent. After inquiring about the written offer further on my own initiative, I was informed that the headcount was not approved... but still strung along that they were "working to get an exception" (unknown outcome of those attempts to this day). At that point, I wasn't holding my breath.
Had Xandr displayed more ownership and accountability of the situation, this review wouldn't be here.
Overall disappointing display of lack of professionalism even for organizations as well known as Microsoft.
I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Xandr (Berlin) in Dec 2020
Interview
It was very good structured. After the initial call, you have 4 other meetings with colleagues from different departments. After a while, it is exactly the same questions, which is annoying.

I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Xandr (London, England) in Nov 2020
Interview
1. Intro screening call with Hiring Manager - 30 mins
- General questions on experience
- Role overview
- Check if you are good for the role
2. 4 x 45 min conference call interviews each asking questions around a specific topic for the role like: Customer Service skills, Strategy building etc
Whole process took 2 months with limited updates during this time.
After the last round of the 4 interviews did not hear back anything for over a week.
Finally emailed to find out as had other role proposals as well.
They emailed back saying oh sorry for delay you were not successful. If i did not email prob would hear back after a month.
No regards for the interviewee at this company. Lack of communication and no feedback at all given to someone who just spent over 5 hours interviewing with you.
I would have declined this offer anyway as company seems to have very poor communication and people management skills/organisation.
