      Junior Software Engineer Interview

      Dec 15, 2025
      Anonymous Interview Candidate
      No offer
      Positive experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Xcyber in Nov 2025

      Interview

The interview process was one first initial 30 minute call to get to know the candidate, then scheduled a 2 hour technical interview. Both experiences were positive, specific but open-ended questions that give chance to the candidate to elaborate. In the first interview they are looking to find out about how he thinks in a broader sense, and in the technical they are focused on how adept the candidate is with the skills required for the job, which was Python in this case.

      Question 1

What are dunders in Python and what can you tell us about what purpose they serve?
