I was reached out to by a recruiter after Easy Applying to the role on LinkedIn. After an initial screening call, I interviewed with the hiring manager (30min). After that I was asked to complete a design exercise which I would present two other Product Designers (30min). I was provided a PDF that outlined the exercise and expectations ahead of this interview. Essentially you're given three briefs of broad design challenges to choose from (design a solution that allows [users] to do [action]) and you're asked to choose one and develop a couple of high fidelity screens and a presentation on your design process. They gave a 4 hour time limit for the exercise. After that, there was one more meeting with two members of the team the role would be working on (30min). Around a week after my last interview the recruiter I was working with emailed me to let me know they went with another candidate and gave me some insight into their decision.
Despite not getting an offer, overall this was one of the better hiring processes I've been in. The recruiter was really proactive and communicative, the process wasn't overly long (around 3 weeks total), and everyone I met was really friendly and seemed to enjoy the work they were doing.
