      SAP FICO Consultant Interview

      Jun 9, 2020
      Anonymous Interview Candidate
      Taguig
      No offer
      Negative experience
      Easy interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at YONDU (Taguig) in Jan 2020

      Interview

At first, Application process is smooth. But it did not end up well. I applied at Yondu last January 2020 and everything went smooth until contract signing. I already finished all the on-boarding requirements by the end of February as my starting date was supposedly March 2020. Unfortunately, they gave me a call stating that there is a budget issue on the client side and that they are withdrawing me for deployment. Although, they gave me an assurance that the offered employment under their company is still in effect along with all the benefits and compensation indicated on the contract, but I needed to undergo another application process. I waited for their updates regarding the schedule of the new interviews, but have heard no major update despite follow ups. At that point, I am already resigned from my previous job and too late to retract. A week before my supposed start date at Yondu, I received a call from them and they tried to explain to me the situation. According to them, the position that they’ve offered to me before (with contract) is already closed and that they already chose another candidate. They said it is because of the budget issue as my asking salary was too high for the position (but take note that it was settled before and we had a contract signed). Then, another company called me offering the same position with the same client. As per the client, Yondu said that I backed out for this position so they were surprised that I am applying again. I don't understand why Yondu cannot be transparent and honest with their applicants. 1. They said that the position was closed, but it is still open until now. 2. They said that they already chose another candidate without even trying to negotiate with me as the original candidate for the position. 3. They informed the client that I backed out, but it was actually them who withdrew the contract. Please be more transparent to your applicants. If there is a concern with their asking salary, you should’ve negotiate to them at least. Dont ever leave them hanging and waiting for nothing especially if you already presented the job offer and had the contract signing. The applicants are investing so much time and efforts as well for their application and processing of on boarding requirements, you can’t just withdraw the job and contract that you have previously offered to them without valid reason. Also, in my case, I already gave up my previous job and have declined other job offers as I thought that my employment under Yondu is already guaranteed given that there is already a contract. They caused so much inconvenience and opportunity loss. I tried to revive my application with them, but I heard nothing from them until now.
