I applied online. I interviewed at Yaruki Switch Group (Tokyo) in Mar 2023
Interview
They don't care about who you are; they will send you a vague contract to sign right away. They don't say much about the school you are going to teach in, either. Very sketchy. Maybe if you are in your early 20s and full of energy, it can be an entry job.

Question 1
Do you have any experience teaching Japanese children?
I interviewed at Yaruki Switch Group (Yokohama, Kanagawa)
Interview
simple and straightforward, though I was asked a private question like "are you single". I felt a bit uncomfortable. Otherwise, the questions were pretty standard and I didn't find the process to be difficult

I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Yaruki Switch Group
Interview
It was very long and tedious. The recruiters were kind. However, I had issues with where they placed me as it was over an hour a way from my apartment they ghosted me! Like complete silence til this day. I found this completely unprofessional and disrespectful.
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Yaruki Switch Group (Tokyo) in Sep 2024
Interview
Simple 2 stages interview which requires you to take screening interview first with the HR person and the head of foreign teacher. Both of them super easy . They just want english speakers.
