I applied for this position and quickly got a response from the company's HR department requesting I participate in a phone screening interview to see if I would be a good fit for the company's culture. After e-mailing back a few times, a call time was arranged. A few minutes before the call I got an email from the HR woman I was meant to speak with letting me know she was unavailable for our call and I could I do the call at 7PM in evening. I said no problem, and rushed home after work in order to be ready to receive her call. After 7PM had come and gone with no word from the person who was supposed to call me, I started wondering what was going on. Perhaps there was some time zone confusion as I was on the east coast and the company is based out of California? I emailed the woman, asking if that's why I hadn't heard from her yet and would she like to reschedule, but received no response.
I found the whole experience to be pretty disappointing/unprofessional. Though judging from the reviews of the company from employees here on Glassdoor, perhaps I dodged a bullet.
