A gruelling 6 rounds, including tech screening, take home tests, presentations. The reason I am posting here is because, BEFORE YOU GET AN OFFER, they ask for 2 days UNPAID trial work in their Paris office. Then they decide on offer or not. This is wrong in so many ways, akin to a used car salesman making you invest time in seeing something before discussing prices.
Having an unpaid "trial period" before an offer is a nonsense. That is what probationary periods are for when someone starts a new job. You don't ask a doctor to operate on patients for two days then tell them they are not welcome at the hospital anymore. Or a pilot to fly passengers. The screening happens BEFORE that, and there is a 3 or 6 month probationary period, to see if the person can become a fit (if they are not already). And then they leave if they are not.
I get that recruiting is hard, but it isn't so hard that unpaid trial work should be a thing. It is unnecessary and disrespectful of candidate's time.
