The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Zenjob (Berlin) in Feb 2025
Interview
First call was 30 minutes with the recruiter. They ask typical HR questions and whether you're ready to move to Berlin. Second round was with the engineering manager. They ask about your projects, and what is your approach towards work. Although you discuss how to handled your technical projects, but they don't test your technical knowledge. The next step is that they give you a take-home assignment, which is basically a REST API application that you have to build. They score your code on the basis of completeness, API design, tests, Solution design and coding style. You get 3 days to complete and submit this assignment.
