I had to go through three different phases:
- an application with writing samples, which is pretty common
- a phone call interview, where they just asked me about my experience
- a test article, which was paid if they used it (they did, and I accepted the job)
Wrote two 300-word articles for a paid trial shift. They give you 5 hours to complete it. I got the job but I was told I would be paid even if I didn't.
