      Fabric Sales Associate Interview

      Apr 16, 2010
      Anonymous Interview Candidate
      Lynn, MA
      No offer
      Positive experience
      Easy interview

      Application

The process took 2 days. I interviewed at Zimman's (Lynn, MA) in Apr 2010

      Interview

I applied for job through Craigslist. Response was within one week. I had two one-on-one interviews. The operations manager met with me both times, the owner just the second time. Both interviews lasted over 2 hours. I was very comfortable both times. Very conversational approach. I brought to the table many ideas I had already worked on for the fabric/furniture store. They were appreciative and seemed impressed. They are very encouraging of me. The salary they offered me is 30% less than my old salaried position at a portrait studio which closed. Also, the benefits are not as good. They would be willing to do a pay and performance review within 90 days of start.
