      Application

I applied online. I interviewed at Zoom Communications

      Interview

There were a number of interviews that were both technical and non-technical (behavioral) in nature. Everyone I spoke to was very kind and took the time to explain their questions if I asked for more clarity. Everyone I spoke to also had great things to say about working at Zoom. While I did not accept the job offer as the job wasn't a good fit at the time, the interview process left me with a very positive impression of Zoom and a place I'd be happy to work for if the right role opened.

      Interview questions [1]

      Question 1

While I don't want to give specifics, I enjoyed more of the open-ended questions, especially the technical ones. It allowed me to demonstrate my process of working through a problems.

      Interview

Smooth and very uncomplicated process. You have a round with recruiters, you have a round with the HM and then interview with the technical team. The best part I found about this interview was that they want to understand the thought process and are not looking for you to mug up things which can be easily searched online. To top that, the team is extremely nice and helpful and willing to work with you to build the mental model rather than making you uncomfortable about not knowing something. Overall very happy with the experience.

      Interview questions [1]

      Question 1

Question about a project from your resume and then build upon the technical aspects of it.
