I had a 10-minute video screener with a recruiter followed by a 45-minute conversation with the hiring manager and a 90-minute panel interview with members of the team. After the two rounds of interviews with the team, I was rejected via an automated email sent late at night. After spending hours prepping and interviewing, I was surprised (and found it extremely inconsiderate of my time and energy) that I wasn't notified directly that I was no longer in consideration.

Interview
I went through a five-round interview process over the course of nearly two months. The final round was particularly disheartening — the interviewer opened the call confused about which role I was applying for and incorrectly assumed I was interviewing for a designer position. After I clarified, they proceeded to share their screen and asked me to critique the design and suggest changes.
After investing significant time and effort into the process, I received a generic rejection email a month after the final interview. There was no feedback, no acknowledgment of the time commitment, and the tone was cold and impersonal. For a company that puts candidates through five rounds, I expected more professionalism and basic courtesy. The experience left me questioning how they value people, both internally and externally.
