      Analyst Interview

      Application

I interviewed at algoseek (New York, NY)

      Interview

Mostly easy going atmosphere. Other than routine questions about your past experiences, your education, etc., they seem to genuinely want to know you as a person as well. There was one difficult interviewer who thoroughly questioned your background and tried to poke a hole in your narrative. But I guess that's necessary.

      Interview questions [1]

      Question 1

Mostly the typical ones. Then the technical questions. For my job, it's about my knowledge about economics, company fundamentals and financial instruments. Some less common ones such as "what advices you followed that you wish you wouldn't".
