I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at bp (Aberdeen, Scotland) in Jan 2013
Interview
The process was not too bad in general, although they could have made me comfortable by not having the interview as long as they did. I would prefer that they dont stretch the interview whereby it becomes too onerous for the interviewee.

Question 1
Any reservations about the company. Obviously Gulf of Mexico event was substantial and it's bound to make people think.
You do a few standard tests then there is a video interview where you record your answers. The video interview is like others with typical motivation and situation questions. Then there is a technical interview which was not really about control theory but rather looking at systems and them asking questions about how does each section work etc.

I applied through college or university. I interviewed at bp (Houston, TX)
Interview
It was an on-site interview. As a sophomore in college, they guided me through technical questions they had. They wanted to make sure I could think logically and problem solve on the spot. There were multiple interviewers that each were 1:1.
