I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at dYdX (New York, NY) in Jan 2023
Interview
THE WORST COMPANY AND EXPERIENCE EVER. AVOID IT BECAUSE AS SOON YOU GET TO THE OFFER STAGE THERE ARE MANY RED FLAGS After completing all the interviews, I was not even notified that I passed the last round with the CEO. I had to follow up with them and it took them an entire week to come back and say they are looking for ways to hire outside of the USA in Canada. After 3 weeks of going back and forth, I was kept in the dark through the entire process. Then all of a sudden they tell me they are only hiring people based in the US and need them to be present in the office. Their remote culture and work from anywhere is total BS and their management and HR team are totally incompetent. As a result, they wasted more than 2 months of my and their time.

The recruiter reached out to me on Linkedin. There is a coding interview and then a system design interview before they invite you to an on site. The interviewers are friendly.
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at dYdX in Jan 2023
Interview
Back-to-back technical zoom interviews. Move forwarded to 1-day onsite which includes system-design interview and a full-day project. Did a presentation towards the end of day. I was compensated for the onsite.
Overall, the interviewers were pretty friendly and I enjoyed the process. A bit disappointed not to get an offer since I thought the interviews went well.
