      Software Engineer Interview

      Sep 28, 2017
      Anonymous employee
      Springville, UT
      Accepted offer
      Positive experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied through other source. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at digEcor (Springville, UT) in Nov 2013

      Interview

It was pretty informal at the time. However, the people there when I got hired are no longer there. We haven't been huge on excessively technical questions. I think they're stupid anyway. No one works that way. You've got Google and Stack Overflow to look up trivia. I can tell by just talking to someone for an hour if they have any clue or not. I don't care what specific programming language someone knows. That is actually barely relevant to the real problems of software development.
