I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at drom fragrances (Munich, Bavaria) in Sep 2016
Interview
The HR replied me quickly after one day. She has arranged an interview between the analytical department head in their Germany center and me after 2 weeks on Skype. She would like to know about my PhD project in analytical chemistry. I have explained to her but she hasn't even heard about a common instrument name. I could sense that she didn't have patience to listen about more details or principle. I feel like the selection of personnel was more based on emotions more than my knowledge and techniques. The questions were very standard. Nothing impressive.
I applied through college or university. I interviewed at drom fragrances (Baierbrunn) in Nov 2016
Interview
The recruiting process took place in three steps:
- Send an application for the job position
- Pass an interview on Skype with the department manager
- Pass an interview and olfactory tests in the company's offices
I found this recruiting process well-structured and the company's employees kind, humane and professional.

Interview
The process has been very efficient. I was contacted 1 day after sending my application and we fixed a 1st skype interview with the head of the department.
2 weeks later, we met in Baierbrunn for a 2nd interview where I was interviewed by the Analytical Department Manager, the HR Manager, and the whole team. I took a test and we had a coffee all together. The company will get back to me as soon as they have finished the process.
