I applied in-person. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at excelHR (Ottawa, ON) in Jul 2019
Interview
I had an on the spot surprise interview when meeting one of their councillors about my resume. Then I was scheduled for another interview with a hiring manager 1 week later. The hiring manager essentially let me run the interview, so I asked a lot of questions. The conversation lasted 2 hours and was positive but he was surprised I had not worked with KPI's before. I was then lead to his manager for a secondary interview. I did ask this manager about all the reviews on glassdoor about forced overtime and employee exhaustion. He assured me overtime is always optional. Overall it went well. Two weeks later I received a very generic automated looking email from the hiring manager that I was not selected.

Question 1
I asked most of the questions but we did talk about my recruitment experience. I was asked if I was comfortable making many phone calls.
I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at excelHR (Ottawa, ON) in Jun 2020
Interview
It was fine and the interviewer was personable and friendly but I never heard back after they promised the world. They made it seem like I could get any job, even government, but alas I never heard back from them after the initial interview, even though I applied to other jobs.
