Extremely long process - still have not gotten my official rejection (or acceptance) letter. I applied back in February 2020. Right after this, I had an phone screen with the recruiter. Next, she set up a virtual interview with me- this lasted probably a total of 15 minutes. It was very quick. She said the next thing was going to be a computer literacy test, and if that went well, then a final interview with the Director ( or whoever was at the top of the Talent Acquisition team). The computer literacy test was very easy if you know basic computer skills. After this, the recruiter set up the final interview with me and we confirmed the date/time.
I had something come up the day of my final interview - so I requested if we can move it to a later time that day, but I also mentioned that if not possible, the original time would be fine and I would work something out. This was the worst thing I could have done. The recruiter said it was no problem and she moved the interview to a later time. Then, she actually cancelled that and then scheduled the final interview two days later. I had told her that I would not be able to do that as it interfered with my current work schedule. She basically put me on standby for now 4 months. There was a lot of back and forth - I would say when I was available, and she would either not reply for days/weeks, or say that the interviewer was not available. She mentioned that they had sales goals they needed to reach, and that that was their top priority at the time, but that I would be kept in the loop.
Needless to say, the communication at hear.com is so unprofessional. I still have not heard anything, even after my constant follow-ups. The last email I had sent was to ask them if they are still interested, as I had to make a decision with another offer but wanted to make sure I was exploring all my options first. It is now June, and I have not heard anything back.
