After i applied HR contacted to arrange an initial call with hiring manager via email. Had a phone interview with hiring manager for about 30-40 minutes. Nothing hard just he was trying to understand my background. After phone interview i was contacted by HR again for an on site interview. And i went to Berlin to meet the team. On site interview was not so much different than the call. Both hiring manager and senior analysts were not so clear and sure about whole processes they described as their day to day job. I stayed about a 2 hours. They sent me a list of 3 attendees from product teams prior to the interview however only one showed up. All attendees did not seem prepared at all. All questions were quite superficial. They paid for all expenses such as flight and accommodation. After on site interview HR contacted me again with another email saying team did not have enough time to evaluate my skills and they wanted another phone interview with other senior analysts. I accepted it but at that moment i already decided that i was not going to accept if they made an offer. Phone interview took about 1 hour consisted of technical questions . However they did not think of having a screenshare session or at least sending me the questions right before the interview. Since it was a phone call everything was not very clear, sound quality, questions they wanted to ask etc. Also they did not sound more senior than myself. Interview questions were super basic things of an analyst i believe they should reconsider interview questions especially for a 'Senior' role. During whole interview process which took 3 months more or less i never got to speak to HR directly. They only sent robotic emails to arrange calls with the team. I was not given any information about conditions and salary at any point. Probably the worst HR process i have seen in recent years, actually HR was not involved at all except sending emails to arrange calls. Not even an introduction call.
