First, you have a series of Zoom interviews with other reporters and editors. During these interviews, you are asked questions in a round robin style. The questions I was asked included: How I'd deal with different hypothetical situations as a reporter, What my reporting experience was, what I learned from that, and how I'd apply that to this position, My approach to covering the news, What I knew about different types of journalism, and To discuss the news of the day. The final stage involves a timed writing test. I was given a scientific study and asked to review it and write up a summary that I would use to write a radio script in a set amount of time.
