I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at jjFOX (Truro, England) in Feb 2018
Interview
a telephone interview, then a 30 minute one-on-one personal interview, then a 30 minute two-on-one presentational interview where they scrutinised my CV line by line, then an interview with the CEO.
The whole thing seemed very toxic, they were open about expecting employees to devote their life to the work, working well past their contracted hours. I was asked to do a presentation about any topic, I picked the environment as I am passionate about it, then the two men laughed and joked about how little they care about the subject for 30 minutes.
It was a good process overall. I was comfortable and they did a good job explaining the entire process to me. The interview was nice and friendly. There were no surprises in the pipeline.
Sent cv and quickly had telephone interview. Was invited to Bristol office for assessment centre. Half of the group were let go at lunch. Did group talk and some presenting. Was then told by telephone that I’d made it through. Had interview with partner in London and was offered the job on the same evening.
