I was approached by an external recruiter that introduced me to the company. Then I had a first HR/Technical call with their internal recruiter who asked about my experience and then asked some tech questions (I'm going to add them here). The next step was a technical challenge that had some pretty specific questions about Bitcoin behavior and gathering information about the blockchain. Moved then to an interview with their Head of Engineering, this was a tech interview as well with sharing my screen and showing and answering questions by showing how to do what he asked for. The Head of Engineering said he was happy with what he has seen since I did very well and was going to move me to talk with the CEO. After some time the company scheduled the call with CEO, then cancel it saying they had decided to hire someone else and were closing the position. That is totally fine, they may decide to hire whoever they feel is a better fit, the odd part is that they told me they were hiring someone else, but at the beginning of the process they told me they were hiring multiple people for the position, and the position is still open on their career page. Well if they felt like I was not a good fit for some reason, just tell me so I can work on making that better.
