Interview
1. 15-30m HR Screening, super friendly and casual. Most positive experience of the interviews, the rest could be optimized.
2. 2-4h Take home assignment, very applicable to the position. Everything from scripting, minor web dev, config management, deployment etc. not much sysadmin.
3. (final) 2h "In Person Technical" (video call), mostly low level system admin questions. Debugging bash scripts, linux kernel questions.

Interview
A very insightful process except the technical interview. I was asked to run a pod in a K8S cluster. I was doing it the imperative way but I was stopped half way through it...I was also asked to list all files in a directory in a recursive way using Python. The interview was to last 2 hours but they ended it in 50 minutes. I wasn't given time limits for the assignment and I was also not allowed to explore other alternatives in doing the same thing. Other than this, everything was fine.

Deploy an nginx pod in a given namespace and expose it to the internet. Write a python code to recursively list all files in a given directory. Troubleshoot a K8S cluster to identify issues that prevent the application from running.
