I applied online. I interviewed at udaan.com (Bengaluru) in Oct 2021
Interview
not a good experience at all , no formal feedback shared with candidate - tech and non tech ppl discussed and ghosted candidate after so called bp hr round - after constant follow up verbally - hr was lying stating she wrote about it to me in mail - immature - first understand what you need culture fit front
I applied in-person. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at udaan.com in Jan 2022
Interview
The HR contacted me through LinkedIn and briefed about the interview process. Hr sent me an email with the details about each round and one liner about the expectations of that round.
I had four rounds in total and it can happen in any order.
The interviewers were very calm and composed and they ensured the interviews were mostly a discussion rather than a Question and Answer session.
Round 1 - Technical
The interviewer was very calm and composed and makes you very comfortable. He focussed mostly on the approaches/techniques/design principles I used to scale an application.
Round 2 - Operational excellence
This round was more about the practices and processes you followed to achieve the maximum throughout and quality deliverables with minimum resources. We discussed mostly on the devops side of things.
Round 3 - HR round
Here, we discussed about the processes to manage the team . How the appraisals are done, how the conflicts are managed, how do you ensure the growth trajectory of your team members
Round 4 - Past work experience/Hiring manager
This is again a technical discussion on the most difficult design problem you solved, The drawbacks of the existing design and ways to mitigate, Have you ever broken the production environment?
Please note all the interviewers are technically sound and they will not be satisfied with the surface level knowledge. They always try to listen and understand the approach you explain. Never they were rude and value your experience and knowledge so much
